SMS will be a sponsor, speaker and exhibitor at the Edie Net-Zero Live 2020 virtual event on 10-12 November.
Net-Zero Live 2020 is the biggest virtual event of its kind connecting thousands of energy, sustainability and resource efficiency professionals around a common purpose: to accelerate climate action and drive a green recovery.
Taking place over three days, the event includes high-level keynote talks, interactive panel discussions, facilitated networking sessions and educational masterclasses, as well as virtual exhibition booths showcasing the cutting-edge net-zero technologies and services that will shape the decade ahead.
Unlocking access to funding for a net-zero future
Day 2 of the event (Wednesday 11 November) is Net-Zero Carbon Day, a must-attend for all energy and sustainability professionals seeking to cut carbon, increase efficiencies and unlock new revenue-driving opportunities.
As part of Net-Zero Carbon Day, SMS will be delivering a virtual masterclass between 11.15am and 12pm. Alongside other guest speakers, our Head of New Energy Systems, Sean Keating, will address attendees on ‘Unlocking access to funding for a net-zero future’.
With the UK having entered an unprecedented recession, this topic is more relevant than ever. The 45-minute masterclass will offer some best-practice examples and top tips when it comes to overcoming funding barriers and financing your organisation’s net-zero transition, including securing boardroom buy-in for carbon reduction projects.
