SMS secures JOSCAR accreditation as qualified supplier to aerospace, defence, and security sectors
SMS Connections Ltd – the division of SMS that designs and delivers gas connections for the UK industrial and commercial (I&C) and public sectors – has successfully been accredited by the Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register (JOSCAR).
JOSCAR is an accreditation system which enables prime contractors in the aerospace, defence, and security sectors to identify qualified suppliers.
The accreditation means that SMS’s gas connections services meet JOSCAR standards of compliance on the full range of solutions provided to customers.
JOSCAR is recognised by some of the largest purchasers in the defence community such as BAE, Babcock, QinetiQ, NATS, Leonardo MV, Meggitt and the Ministry of Defence (MOD).
